The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the same standard we check the interfaces we design and build against.

How it is checked

Before each release, every page is tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA at phone and desktop sizes, checked for sideways scrolling at screen widths from 280 pixels to ultra-wide, and its menu and contact form are tested by keyboard.

What you can expect

A link at the top of every page skips straight to the content. Animation is reduced when your device asks for less motion, and the film previews stay still. Films have captions on by default and a full transcript beneath them. When a form field needs correcting, the problem is described in words and the first one receives focus.

Known limits

Automated checks find many problems, but not all of them. Everything the films say is in their captions and transcripts, but some of their visual detail is not described in words.
